Meet the Coaches

Our coaches bring elite wrestling experience, dedication, and athlete-first training to every session, helping wrestlers develop technique, resilience, and teamwork.

Led by Will Balow, assisted by Luke Tupper and Spencer DeFrang.

A competition-ready wrestling mat in deep navy and gold fills the frame, its textured vinyl surface showing subtle scuffs and chalk marks that hint at intense training. Bold Olympic-style circle markings stand out crisply, with the Zumbro WC logo emblazoned at center in sharp, high-contrast colors. The mat is positioned in a modern gymnasium, surrounded by low, out-of-focus training equipment along the edges. Overhead LED lights cast strong, even illumination, creating crisp reflections on the mat and dramatic shadows in the background. Photographed from a low, slightly diagonal angle, the image feels bold and dynamic, with photographic realism and a shallow depth of field emphasizing the mat as the arena for next-level performance.
A pair of elite competition wrestling shoes, one silver and one matte black with bold gold accents, rest at the edge of a navy wrestling mat stamped with the Zumbro WC emblem. The shoes’ mesh panels, reinforced seams, and textured rubber soles are shown in sharp detail, with frayed laces loosely draped to suggest recent intense use. The surrounding training room fades into a soft blur of wall padding and weight racks. Cool, focused overhead lighting creates crisp highlights on the shoes’ contours and subtle reflections on the mat. Captured at eye level with a tight, cinematic composition, the photographic style feels gritty, determined, and high-energy—perfectly aligned with a serious Olympic-style wrestling club.
An intense conditioning corner in a wrestling room, featuring a neatly arranged row of battle ropes, resistance bands, medicine balls, and a gleaming steel plyometric box on a black rubber floor. A section of navy wrestling mat with bold gold edge lines intrudes into the frame, tying the space to Zumbro WC’s training environment. A wall-mounted timer with bright red LED digits counts down the final seconds of an interval. Harsh, directional overhead lighting casts strong shadows and emphasizes the rugged textures of the equipment. Shot from a slightly elevated angle with sharp focus throughout, the photographic image feels bold, high-energy, and purposeful, capturing the off-the-mat work required for high school wrestlers to reach the next level.
